Cake Balls!


It's what I do with "cake scraps" and a little bit of buttercream. These are composed of chocolate cake, Princess buttercream and a few drops of Rum flavoring. Dipped in semi-sweet chocolate and drizzled with white chocolate. Sounds like a great 5th of July breakfast to me!

The cut glass tray these cake balls are posing upon was my grandmother's.

OOh, I make these too! I use flavored coffee creamer instead of the icing, just to add a little extra flavor. My favorite is french vanilla cake with french vanilla creamer, but the seasonal flavors are really good too!
