Zoo Party
The Houston Zoo is a really cool place for kids' birthday parties. This two-year-old is celebrating his birthday there today. His favorite animals are monkeys and lions. I added a hippo, a turtle and an elephant. Chocolate cake!
Thanks, Kelli. Yes, I made the animals with gumpaste, which is a type of fondant that dries hard as a rock. It's just like playing with Play-Doh! I love the little monkey.
Thank you so much for this cake. I couldn't have asked for anything better. Everyone oohed and aahed over it. The inside was just as fabulous as the outside. I will be calling on you again!
