For our daughter's wedding on 12/13/14. A refreshing, trendy change from the traditional stacked wedding cake ... I decided to ice all the tiers a little differently and place them on varying heights of cake stands. Wafer paper flowers, fondant pearls, gumpaste snowflakes, fondant ruffles and buttercream roses were all utilized in the decor.

Were the cakes different flavors?
No, all the same. Just decorated differently. I didn't want to place the burden on our cake servers (my sister and Doug's) to have to remember which cake was which flavor and which guest wanted which flavor. And then you have the issue of some people wanting one slice of each flavor. It's all just "wedding cake flavor" people!
