Actually, it's a White Almond Sour Cream cake -- yum! Iced in buttercream, then covered in marshmallow fondant. The daisies, leaves and bow are also fondant, the writing is buttercream.
Aunt Kevin - Your work is unbelievable!! I saw a cake contest on the Food Channel last year and all of your cakes are nicer then any of the contestants' cakes!
Kevin, I escaped Houston a couple of years ago. Conroe, actually, which has become an extension of Houston. I do not miss the noise & traffic. I'll be looking for that wedding & groom's cake.

Oh Jon-Boy (sorry for the nickname, but that's how we think of you ;-))
That is so sweet of you to say! I only wish I could have done your wedding cake a few years ago. Who knew I had it in me?
Maybe one day I can do one of CeCe's birthday cakes, at least.
Thank you for the compliments.
Love,
Aunt Kevin
Your cakes are works of art. I am thoroughly impressed with your skill and vision. Bravo!
Thank you, hillcountrygal! There'll be a wedding cake and a groom's cake up here next week, and another wedding cake the week after. So stay tuned!
